Brief~History Investigation~History

Visitors to new places always like to know something about the history and imagine the people who used to live there. Perhaps you could make a time line to show your information and add pictures of any places mentioned.

Using these different sources will bring up problems! Various sources say different things! Try storing you information on spreadsheet, database or a table in Word. Enter the information under the headings:

Date: Facts: Source

It doesn't matter what order you enter the facts. It can all be sorted into date order later. Once you have sorted them the different bits of information begin to help you understand more easily. You can then combine the information for the same dates to re-write in your own style.

	This site includes a lot of detail - too detailed to read it all but you may like to dip in to it.
	This site takes you back to pre history and volcanoes etc! Highlight some of the main points to add to your information.
