Calendar: Investigation~Calendar
Using the information below,
make up a list of activities your visitors can go to, whatever month
of the year they visit. Some will be repeated but sometimes you will
find something new. Either write them down for each month or copy
and paste them into Word or whatever text program you have. Then
edit all the information to make it your own. You might find some pictures
to illustrate it. You could display the pictures with captions around
a map, showing where to go for the various happenings. It is up to you!

The Jazz Festival
The Jazz Festival is an important event in May. Scan through
the information on this page. You could copy
and paste it into Word and then highlight
the main points.
Look in particular at:
- Under the heading 'Rationale' paragraph 2, find out the two
main objectives.
- Read the first paragraph under 'The Event' to find out what
kind of jazz is played and where, and also where the performers
come from.

few and either save

of the page for 'print version'. You could then
print of several small pictures. Always check with your teacher
before printing.
