The main source of clues that Freddy Ferret uses for preparing this material for the family from St Lucia is the web site addresses. (It's a good thing he has Watty W Weasel around to do all that hard research!) Stella Stoat has provided them on the Investigation pages. It is up to you and your group, and finally, your class to decide what to do with all the information. It is very likely that you are already finding out about St Lucia and have some other resources like books and videos. Make full use of those in the classroom and look out for articles in the travel section of newspapers. Go to the library. Try the travel agents. The internet is a wonderful source but not the only source. Your teacher might like to check on the resources section just to check what is available. Look at these Some groups will look at parts of these sites but they are good for everyone. This is a brilliant site created especially for KS2 by Suffolk County Council. Do look at it. It covers many areas of our investigations. Children from Hitchams Primary School in Suffolk have produced a PowerPoint presentation about St Lucia. It might give you some ideas. Another school in Suffolk, Sidegate Primary has formed links with St Lucia and had a visit from people from the island. Read all about it here. If you watch the TV programs about the Harvey family you can read an interview with Hayle Harvey. She answers children's questions. It is on part of the Suffolk County Council site. There are some links to other web sites from The Geographical Association. Some introduce other areas to develop. Stella Stoat's Support Services
