The Country - The Gambia

	Map A satellite map. Go below the map and tick roads, places and political boundaries, zoom in one or two levels, then 'update map'. Use the west and east arrows to view all the country. The heavy white line shows the country boundary. The red line south of the river is the one main road. The finer white line north of the river is the other main road. In 2005 this road was being upgraded and surfaced. This was completed by 2008. There are very few roads in The Gambia once away from the coastal area.
