As you travel around in The Gambia you see mosques in every town
and many villages because it is a Muslim country. The religion
is Islam, introduced by the prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him).

Some Gambians are Christians and worship in
church. Both religions will recognise and accept each others and
often share in each others celebrations and festivals |
